The lower melting temperature of Staincopperaloy prevents loss of properties and minimizes distortion on thin items. With Staincopperaloy you can repair or fabricate: Plumbing applications, cooling coils for refrigerators, copper pipes to stainless tank, stainless steel heating elements in fluid heating systems, electrical & electronic connections, storage bins, instruments, food containers, ducting, etc. Staincopperaloy repairs or fabricates anything made of copper or Stainless Steel.

Clean the base metal using anything from a wire brush , file, sand paper, grinder etc. No Flux needed
1. Clean
Heat the base metal using anything from propane on up. Do not heat the Castaloy rod. Remember the heavier the item the longer it takes to reach 550 deg f.
2. Heat
As soon as the base metal reaches 550
deg f the Castaloy rod will flow. Back
off with your heat and make your repair.
